Cooking was one of the big moments of the first Besties Summer Camp, and the Tasty Goodness Challenge put the girls firmly in charge of the kitchen.
Dressed in their bright Besties T-shirts, the girls chopped, mixed and plated fresh ingredients, from carrots and onions to sausages and noodles, and finished with dishes they were proud to show off. Laughter was never far away.
More than a cooking session
Challenges like this are a big part of how Besties works. Alongside pottery, fitness and outdoor games, the cooking challenges gave the girls a chance to try something new, work together and be creative. These are the kind of hands-on experiences girls may not always get in a classroom or even at home.
