The first Besties Summer Camp packed 60 hours of friendship, creativity, learning and fun into three days and two nights. Here is a closer look at what filled the schedule.

A welcome party to start

Camp kicked off with a lively welcome party, complete with a female DJ, so the twelve girls could meet, dance and settle in together.

Creating with their hands

The girls took part in pottery sessions, and a beading masterclass with designer Quophi Akotuah gave them the chance to learn from a professional.

Kitchen and outdoor challenges

There were cooking challenges, fitness sessions and outdoor games, all designed to get the girls moving, working as a team and enjoying a little friendly competition.

Conversations that matter

Camp was not only about fun. The girls also joined a special conversation about menstrual hygiene and growing up with a former Miss Malaika Ghana queen, a chance to ask questions and learn in a safe, supportive space.

The diary room

The whole camp was captured as a reality experience, and the girls shared their thoughts and reactions in diary-room sessions as they navigated friendships, challenges, competition and life under one roof.

And it happens every year

Besties Camp is an annual experience, so there will be more chances for girls to make new friends, discover new interests and create unforgettable memories.
